Hi everyone, Jenn-Lynn here! I created Out of the Cosmos Healing because I longed for a way to not only share my story with others, but to be able to give a sense of peace, relaxation, & loving energy to those who asked.

My healing story began when my father was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. After suffering through both kidneys failing, and the exhaustion behind radiation for the cancer, my mom turned to energy practitioners for help in 2017. A lovely, wonderful, inspiring group of reiki practitioners from all over the world joined together one late evening with one common goal in mind - sending my dad loving reiki energy.
My healing story began when my father was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. After suffering through both kidneys failing, and the exhaustion behind radiation for the cancer, my mom turned to energy practitioners for help in 2017. A lovely, wonderful, inspiring group of reiki practitioners from all over the world joined together one late evening with one common goal in mind - sending my dad loving reiki energy.
My mom acted as the practitioner, and through her hands the energy of many energy practitioners flooded and spread; going to all the places it needed to be in my dad. "Reiki goes where Reiki flows."

While my dad would have argued that it was the radiation that finally kicked in, he was cancer free within two months of that faithful night. And he has been cancer free since*(please see bottom of page for more info).

Upon witnessing this act of "magic," I immediately knew that it was something that I needed to learn as soon as possible. Thus I searched on the internet for a Reiki Teacher, completed lots of google reviews, and eventually trusted my gut.

The time between my dad getting cancer & my getting attuned was incredibly difficult. I broke up with my then-boyfriend of 7 years, quit the job I had been at for almost 5 years, and challenged everything I knew about myself, my beliefs, and where I wanted to go in life. I knew that the corporate 9-5 world was not for me (nor was retail work)! I knew that I had to discover some source of happiness within myself before attempting to find it in another. I knew that I was meant for "more than this provincial life."

As a child, magic was everything. Finding magic in the mundane was part of my daily routine. I had imaginary animal friends that would keep me warm. I used to see orbs and sometimes I would see spirits. I believed in Hogwarts and Narnia and read as much as I could fit into a day in order to escape the boring parts of life - school and chores and sleeping (hah).

So is Reiki magic? Yes & no.

Yes to me, because I choose to believe it as such. No because it should be as natural as breathing to all humankind. Imagine this: a world where everyone has access to "Universal Life Force Energy" (aka Reiki). A world where one individual can look at another and experience a connection; an understanding of where they hurt and why they hurt. Empathy.

Through years of civilization, witch hunts, and the idea of "difference = dangerous," humans have lost this natural ability to connect with the universe, with nature, and with one another. Some people can connect easier than another - this is because of where they are in their life path.

After I received my first degree Reiki attunement, I waited 2 months until receiving my second degree. I then waited 4 years before receiving my third degree, aka Master Practitioner. In-between those years, however, I became attuned to a variety of different healing modalities: Tera Mai Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy (IET), Womb Light, the attunement for The Violet Flame of St Germain, Certified Circle Facilitator (which took 4 months of deep inner shadow work to complete), and finally a 200hr Yoga Instructor Certification. Even now I am working on my 200hr Kundalini Yoga Certification.

*Please Note: "Healing" is used loosely. I make no guarantee that Energy Sessions can provide "healing." Energy Sessions are used to provide relaxation, stress-relief, insomnia-relief, & can help with anxiety. There is no "proof" that Reiki cured my father of cancer, nor will I ever say that it can cure you of any illness. I am not a medical doctor, massage therapist, or alternative medicine practitioner. Do not stop seeing your doctor & do not stop any medications while working with me. I can only offer relaxation & stress-reduction. Results vary. Please be aware of this when booking.
